Jordan I think your book would be interesting to read. The way your book sounds, it seems like a well rounded book about how life could actually be. The book sounds like it might have a lot of humor in it so it would be a fun book to read. Does the main character ask the girl out at the end? All in all, I would like to read this book.
This is a response to Shyenne’s blog from period 4 blog 3. Shyanne you talk about how you feel like crying when you read about how Violet died and then when Olivia tells Calla everything and how she thinks it’s her fault. I read a book once called Not Forever and it’s about a sister who dies and how one sister thinks it’s all her fault, but it’s really not. I thought it was so sad, but when you get really into a book and its characters you can feel what they’re feeling. When a character feels a lot of pain you just can’t help but feel sorry for them.
This is a response to Paulina’s 3rd blog. When I was at the book store a few months ago and I saw your book Halo and I really wanted to read it but I didn’t have enough money. So your blog about Jake Thorn makes this book sound so good! Your right Jake really sounds arrogant and flirting with a teacher (even if you are 18) sounds so gross. Also I am very curious about the “dark forces of hell” and then about Jake wanting Bethany but Bethany likes Xavier. Is he trying to break them up? Or are they not dating? I would really like to read your book it sounds really interesting.
Joe, Who does Dirk and Kurt resque in your story? Also I'm a little confused when you said in your last blog that they are both do-gooders? Does the topic really pertain to anything with the title of your book? Is this book, INCA GOLD, part of a series or not? I like adventure books.
In your last blog, where did the bullet hit Cal's Uncle? In what way did he hurt his sister? Did his uncle or sister at all ended up in the hospital? This sounds like an interesting book. Kind of reminds me of a movie called GET CARTER. Of course Selvester Stallone is the main character in the movie. By the way, why did he shot his uncle in the first place? Anger, depression, etc. ?
The things i like in the book is the story line I think it's interseting how it's all in like police report form. The thing i disliked is how it tell's one person's story then jumps right into the next person's story. it's some what hard to follow the story at some points.
The character i most admire is Carter because he is so calm when he is talking to the police about the shooting at his school. He also discribed why he was apart of the shooting very well to help the police get a better idea of why. But it is still hard to understand why he was part of the shooting.
I don't really understand why len cut his arm to start bleeding to write stop the violence on the walls. It's very confusing to why someone would do that sort of thing.I think you'd have to be very crazy to cut yourself like that to write stop the violence. I wonder why he would think of doing something like that. Don't you think something would be really wrong with his family life for him to do something like that.
Cody, I think he would cut himself to bleed to write stop the violence on the walls because he is so serious that people around him like friends and family would actually start to really care about violence in the first place. Ya I agree, that is weird. What is the name of your book?
Jordan, The name of my book is called "Shooter". It is an inerasting book i think. It is slow going in the beginning but more towards the end it gets better.
Now in my book they found one of Len's journals and the think he may have some depression issues. They don't know why he does because his family life seems pretty normal. They keep on asking his friends if he was every abused and stuff like that. They are trying to figure out why someone would do this such of thing.
Jordan, The name of my book is called "Shooter". It is an interesting book I think. It is slow going in the beginning but towards the end it gets better. It is a similar to the Columbine school shooting because it was a shooting at a school. It was different because there wa less deaths and the people who shot up the shoot seem to have a perfect life and nothing was wrong.
In my book the cats of the prophesy are on their quest and they just encountered a dog and are going to being led by a rouge cat named Purdy. I think that this is not a good thing for some warriors to trust the rouge cat Purdy. They have been have been taken into a twoleg place because of Purdy. They also think they will be in very much trouble when they follow him because they already have found out that he was not taking them the wrong way.
Devin Your character is just like my character Brambleclaw he is always trying to figure out things for himself. He is always trying to do his best even when he does not know what his best is. Also Squirrelpaw is just like Bronfman because she thinks that she can do everything without help. Squirrelpaw is very annoying because she never shuts up about how she is very talented.
The character Carter is hard to understand where he is coming from because his story doesn't make sense to me. The story he is telling is all over the place. It’s is very confusing to me at this point in the book. I think they wont get a lot of time in jail because they are not eight teen yet but it all depends on what they get charge for. The Police talk to some of the parnets whos kids were killed at the shooting and they said that there will never be closer.
Preston, I have read the book you are reading. I felt the same way about Purdy. The clan cats are right to be cautious to trust Purdy. But you have to remember that these cats are clan cats. They fallow the warrior code and Purdy taking them into a twoleg (or upwalker) place is to them the life of a soft kittypet, even though Purdy is rouge. Purdy always came across to me as a funny old cat. I think you will be surprised at how much Purdy does help Brambleclaw and the rest of the clan cats, in this book and the rest of the series.
The ending of my book is very interesting. It turns out that the midnight they were waiting for is not a time at all. It is a badger a badger and a badger is one of the worst enemies of the forest. I think that they were very much setting up for the next book in the series. I think this because they leave a lot of things open. Like they have another prophesy, and the cats know Starclan does not give their prophesies by telling them exactly what it means. This makes it hard for you to understand them too.
In my book David's dad dies of cancer. I wonder how David felt when his dad died. My life relates to this part of the book because my grandfather just passed away from cancer. The reason that I wonder how David felt is because when my grandfather died I was really sad. I am still having issues with it today.
Responding to Sophie I agree that he should have spoken to her in person, so he basically took the easy way out. The letter could be taken in different ways, it could be happy or sad or angry or any other emotion depending on how the reader reads it. It is nice that Alex figures out he should be with Rosie, but Rosie is still technically married. Rosie is going to need to see where she and her marriage are before she can consider being with Alex is she chooses to. So I think Rosie should be with Alex because they seem like a great friends and seem like Greg did something to destroy their marriage. -Stephanie Carbaugh
