  1. Angel has been thinking very deeply lately and she confides in Bosco, her friend about all of this. She is wondering whether her husband is cheating on her. She thinks this because she notices how a lot of the guards at the compound come here to find girlfriends even though they have families back in America. Most of the men secretly have other women in their lives. Bosco tells Angel that this is all just her overactive mind. She is settled with that. I think the relationship between Bosco and Angel is intriguing because they both share eachother's secrets. I find this amazing because Angel has said to many people that there are no secrets in Kigali. Everyone knows everyone's business, but Bosco and Angel have lots of trust in eachother.

  2. In Witch and Wizard by James Patterson Whit and Wisty Allgood have been in this “jail”. Under The New Order they have been put on death row, but they can’t be hung until they are 18. Which for Whit is in about a mouth, but for Wisty is in around 3 years. But I think they have been acting stupid. Wisty has burst into flames more than a few times and made herself invisible when she didn’t want to be seen, but the idea “I am a witch” never pops into their head until like the 100th page or so. It’s annoying when all the evidence points them to a conclusion that they are a witch and wizard and they are just like “nope not us”. They are just finally starting to realize what they are and the kind of powers they have.

  3. In Witch and Wizard by James Patterson I am slightly confused and very curious. I am confused with Whit’s missing girlfriend Celia showing up in his dreams. I am wondering what she is, because if she can show up in his dreams she might not be human but, I don’t think she is a witch either. Then I am curious how they are going to get themselves off of death row. I have read enough books to know that the main character or characters almost never end up dying. They could die, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

  4. In my book, Dragon, by Clive Cussler, I think that the part I just read is very re4aslistic. I think it is realistic because these scientists were living in an underwater base that had to withstand thousands of pounds of pressure constantly, or else the entire base would be completely destroyed by the water. While they were there, a major earthquake (I later found out it was a nuclear bomb going off on the surface) hit, and rocks started to fall from the edges of the underwater valley the base was built in. As more and more rocks hit the domes (it was domed because domes are very sturdy) and the people left using their deepwater submarines. When the biggest dome finally broke, water rushed in so fast that the only people left near the bottom couldn’t even see it happen. The entire base just disappeared to them. I'm not sure, but I think that it would pretty much happen just like that in real life.

  5. Cal's uncle has taken a letter from his dad that belongs to Cal. To get it back, Cal has to sneak into his uncles house. I think the relationship between Cal and his uncle is interesting because they don't seem to ever talk to each other, yet he lives really close and his uncle comes over all the time. I really liked the idea of Cal sneaking into his uncle's house because it made the story exciting and suspensful. I think this was the most exciting part so far in the book.

  6. In "Love, Rosie", Alex and Rosie have grown up quite quickly. Rosie has had her child, a daughter named Katie, and Alex is dating somebody. They send emails to each other every now and then, but they are definitely growing apart a bit. Rosie is living with her parents still, at the age of about 20, and Alex is beginning his medical schooling to become a cardiologist. It makes me mad how they don't keep in touch as much anymore, because if you really needed someone to talk to, wouldn't you want your best friend to be there for you? Also, wouldn’t you want to know your best friend is safe and happy, not in a terrible time in their life? I really hope that they make up soon.

  7. I'm at the part where Bruenor and Drizzt find a well that has some importance that is unknown right now. But, when the cave callopses theuy have to get out fast other wise they were going to be crushed to death. Then, Dahila went into the realm of the Lich Vilandra in search for Gauntlgyrm, but she needed the services of Jaraxle and Arthrogate. I think the part where the cave collapses on Bruenor and Drizzt is very realistic because a cave could callopse at any moment so you have to be careful. I dislike Dahila because, she is a mean, controlling, angry, sly, caniving person who will stab you in the back and twist the knife several times.

  8. What I wish the author had included: I wish that at the end of the book the author had more detail about how Dirk Pitt survived the nuclear explosion at Soseki Island. He was trapped in an underwater landslide inside of a special deepwater submarine, alone, and the book very clearly suggests that he is dead. In the Epilogue, however, he turns up on a beach on an unnamed island that is apparently a tourist destination. He just pops out of the water and goes to the restaurant and orders some food. But I guess it's good that he is still alive, but he was down there for about a month (the book had said that he thought that would happen, so he brought extra food and water with him just in case). So the book skips about a month of time where he was under water trying to dig his little submarine thing out of a giant landslide.

  9. The character I most admire is Cal's friend Boges. I admire him because he helps Cal no matter what even though it could be dangerous. I think that shows he is a good friend. I also like his personality. He is more laid back and doesn't worry as much as Cal does. I wish the author had included Boges in more parts of the story. I know he isn't that important of a character but I wish the author had made Cal take Boges everywhere to investigate with him.

  10. In my book, after I said that they started growing apart, they started sending emails to each other once again. Rosie is moving out of her parent's house and into a small flat for her a Katie. She also recently got her dream job, working at a hotel. She is starting at the bottom, just at the check-in desk, but she is happy. Right after this happens, Rosie goes to visit Alex in Boston. When she is there, they have kind of an awkward silence and she kisses him. Not a second later Sally, Alex's girlfriend, comes over and announces they are engaged. Rosie leaves the next day on a plane home. I think this part is important because it is the first time they think about each other as maybe more than friends. It also makes me angry because Alex didn’t tell Rosie about Sally.

  11. Kate has been causing many problems lately. I hope that Matt will feel better soon. But when he found the letter of Kate's fiancé Matt was really hurt. I hope that it will all be cleared up soon. The spacewalks they've been doing so far have been unsuccessful and nearly all of them had some problem or another. I hope that the group can get back on track with the Starclimber. It makes me wonder what really caused the problems.

  12. The rocket, in the story, sounds massive! I hope they can get it back the way it’s supposed to be so the group may go home. Though, from Matt, it doesn’t sound like going back will be the best. I think they did go through enough planning to save them. Matt must be pretty worried about this. He has the lives of a spaceship full of people in his hands, which are slightly clumsy in low gravity. I compared this to Neil Armstrong walking on the moon, he probably felt pretty clumsy as well. I think the tether idea when creating the spaceship was a very good one. Maybe scientists should read this book in the future.

  13. The character I admire the most is Angel. She is so giving and caring for everybody. For example, when Odile, a friend of a friend came to her house to order a cake and they talked about many other things besides the cake. The girls talked about AIDS and how the disease affected Odile, but she survived it. Now Odile is a nurse and when Angel realized this, she asked her to check on her grandchild because he has malaria. Angel also wanted to make sure her granddaughters knew about the AIDS and how rapidly its spreading, but she didn't want to talk to them about it. Odile offered to take them to a restaurant where the girls who are affected with that disease work there. Odile would teach them about the disease and hopefully the girls would know how to prevent it. Angel really cares about everybody. She took in all five of her grandchildren after their parents died. She would take anyone in if they had no where to go. She tries to keep things professional in her cake shop, but she always seems to make friends with all of her customers. I think that is really amazing because she is so easy to talk to.

  14. Oh my goodness! Looks like the big boy himself scored a few pointers by blowing chunks in the middle of the meadly race right into the swimmers paths. Matt reminds me of myself because he is on the swim team like I am, he has summer goals, he is nervous and shy around girls, fun, and funny like I usually am.

  15. Matt's grandpa just gave this gal a present with a kitten inside that she always wanted. I think somebody has a crush on a old woman! Well, I guess you can say there both old. I dislike couch Luntz because she is always made at her swim team- no matter if they win or lose a meet. If I were Matt right now, I would take the iniciative to take it a step further to confront Kelly more often to talk to her more. If he gets to know her and keeps talking with her, he will have the strength to ask her out. Which I can't even do. At least not yet.

  16. oops, did I spell couch? What I meant to say was coach.

  17. I think the library is an important place because I think that is where a lot of things may happen, also because the main character might learn things about being invisible from the books that he reads. He also can find a good book to read there because he likes to read. One thing he did was he went to the library while being invisible. I am sure that a lot of important events are going to take place in the library. That is why I think the library is an important place. -Stephanie Carbaugh

  18. If I were Bobby at this point, I would feel odd because he is invisible. I would feel relived because nobody has really seen him because he is covered in cloths. I might also feel scared because no one really knows how to help, or even how to change him back, also I would be alone because no one knows what to do with him. I would also just feel weird being invisible because if you don’t know what you are doing it might feel weird to try. That is what I would feel if I was Bobby at this point. -Stephanie Carbaugh

  19. I am reading the book Warriors Midnight The New Prophecy. After the findings of the new dream Brambleclaw wants to go the sun drowned place. I think this is very risky because he and the other three cats don’t know exactly where this place is. This also makes me feel nervous because they will have to be missing for a few days and that could bring suspicion in the clan. When Cinderpelt receives the omen of tiger and fire destroying the forest it was very shocking because something to that extent happened earlier in the book. I think that this omen has to do with the fact if Squirrelpaw tags along with Brambleclaw they will get in trouble with Starclan. The reason why I think it has something to do with these cats is because Brambleclaw is the old Shadowclan leader, Tigerstar’s, son, And Squirrelpaw is Firestar’s daughter. So “Fire” as in Firestar and “Tiger” as in Tigerstar and their children destroying the forest will result in the destruction of all the clans.

  20. It is the day before the new moon and Brambleclaw has not gotten to talk to Squirrelpaw. This we worrying me because if he does not tell her she might follow him and then tell Firestar about the first dream that he had. So far I think that Firestar is doing a good job about keeping Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw apart. I think that if Squirrelpaw is together with Brambleclaw he will get his clan and the entire forest in trouble with Starclan and that is not good at all.

  22. In the book “Hero” a scene that just took place was that Zach Harriman just got into a fight with his friend Spence. The fight had no physical contact between them but it was all verbal. Zach was so mad that after the fight he went and punched a wall over and over again. This part is very unrealistic because Zach had just gone 10 rounds with a wall as hard as he could and nothing happened to him. Now anyone that would have done that would have had some sort of scratch. This scene reminds me of a similar scene in a super hero movie because a part like this is usually when a super hero realizes he or she has super powers.

  23. Zach Harriman the main character of “Hero” has just met Senator Kerrigan. The Senator was a very good friend of Zach’s dad. They both attended college together at Harvard University. I think the relationship between Zach and Senator Kerrigan is interesting because the Senator acts like Zach is his son. Zach and Kerrigan communicate very well together like they would be father and son. Senator Kerrigan reminds me of a character that like already knows what going to happen. The Senator is a very interesting man and it seems like he know the future of Zach’s life.

  24. In Somewhere in the Darkness Jimmy is not mad at his father at all. I really don’t understand why Jimmy is not mad at Crab. I can understand being a little mad but still happy that his father showed up to want to get to know Jimmy. What I am also wondering is why it took his father so long meet Jimmy. If crab was so dying to meet Jimmy why did it take so long? That is why I would be so mad not that he showed up but that it took him so long.

  25. I like this book very much Somewhere in the Darkness. It keeps you on your toes and is very interesting. It keeps you on your toes because you never know what is going too happened next. It also is a fast pace book and I like that about this book. In this book it is very exciting and it is difficult to put down because it is so good. I like this book a lot I hope it stays this fast pace.

  26. In the part I’m at Bruenor and Drizzt have considered digging back into the cave in order to get back to the well, but instead Bruenor is looking for different cave around their area. In that time period Drizzt thinks about how he hasn't fought in a long time, while he practices his techniques. Then Herzgo comes to a cult of people of his own heritage, to find out what they are doing, so the two guards at the gate are slaughtered by his mercenary Barrabus the Gray. When the camp Herzgo gives Barrabus his next assignment, which is to find out about Thay, a evil organization bound on destroying Neverwinter.

  27. So, far in the book, Bruenor and Drizzt are looking for Gauntigrym. But, when Dahila finds Gauntlgrym, they decide to go exploring. I really don't understand what the agents of Thay are up to, but it doesn't sound to pleasent. If I were Jarlaxle I would not even think about helping Dahila, because the she is a person is not very good. I wish that Bruenor hadn't given up his throne in search of something that is supposed to not be found, he should of just stayed in Mithril Hall. I felt kind of let down at this point because of the lack of action in the book.

  28. I like the book so far, it has an interesting feel to it. In the book Bruenor and Drizzt look in several other differnt caves to try and find what they are looking for. Then Vilandra can make spells even thought no one else can use magic, she makes little circles that help Dahila, Jarlaxle, and Arthrogate down into Gauntlgrym. I like Arthrogate because he is a funny, little man, who can fight until his last breath.

I agree with you I think that it would be nice if the author would have included the survival details. I think that it would be more interesting if did include it. Also if the author did not add it to the end of the book I think he probably could make another book. I think the way you explained it I think that it has a lot of info that they left out or could create. So he really just survived? Was there no info in great detail leading up to his survival? These are questions that I would like to know.

So who is this Drizzt character? Is he the protagonist or the antagonist? He seems to be the protagonist in the way you describe him. Is he always paired up with Bruenor? I think this because it seems that every blog you have you start with, “So far Drizzt and Bruenor …” I would like to know more about both these characters and about the plot. I think that I might be interested in this book.

I think your book is interesting. In my book a volcano erupts and destroys most of the world, just like an Atomic Bomb might destroy it. Also, in the end a pair of characters die at the end during another small eruption, just like your ccharacter they both are alive in the end when they shouldn't be. I would definately read your book. Your book seems to have a more modern setting than mine.

I would really want to read your book. It seems really interesting to read and is the kind of book that I like to read. It's similar reading to my book because clan or group want to destroy a homeland of a certain people. The character Brambleclaw is a lot like my character King Bruenor because they are searching for a place of their heritage. Also it reminds of the book Eragon in the way the themes and things go.
